UNIVERSAL LIFE-CARD
Why do you think a patient need to
provide personal - medical details each time he/she visits different hospitals
No Treatment without an Admit
Card
Every
hospital is having specific admit card for their respective patients. The
pattern and style of such card vary among hospitals. For a person seeking
consultation, it’s almost mandatory.
Complexity to Simplicity – Integrating
Patient Details
The
government permits a person to drive a vehicle throughout the country with a
single driving license. Similarly, if a single admit card (Universal Life card)
can be used by a patient for all medical purpose throughout the state, anytime
and anywhere, it would be more convenient.
Universal Life Card
The
patient’s demographic details, medical status, laboratory reports, dietary
patterns and all information’s regarding his/ her health is stored and
maintained in a server. These details can be retrieved by means of a Universal
life card.
A
Universal life card encloses a serial number or a Personal Identifier Number
that can detected by any authorized hospital software which can be displayed on
the screen.
This card can be used only in
healthcare setups and any other institution assigned by the developer.
All
medical updates confined to the patient and their summaries are added to
his/her medical record each time he/ she consults a physician or does
laboratory test in any authorized hospital / clinic.
The card is also having provision
to claim insurance or financial support.
Programme Execution Authority
•
The
government or the private agency under the supervision by the state or district
public sector.
•
Either
as nationwide programme or a state programme
Advantage
•
Accident
cases / patient without bystander can be treated optimally.
•
The
hospital can access every condition confined to the patient – better treatment.
•
Reduce
waiting period – walk in for consultation, just by swiping the card.
•
Can
reduce economical burden – completed data pertaining to the patient can be
retrieved from the authorized hospital computer, thus treatment can be
streamlined accordingly.
•
Reduce
stationary cost.
The
server can be divided and placed in each municipality which is controlled by
one at the district level. This is in turn monitored by the
server at state level.
